Taking orders in the waiter app
An order placed in the waiter app can reach the venue’s POS and kitchen. Check the table and items before the final action.
1. Open the table
Section titled “1. Open the table”Choose the correct section and table, then open its menu or add-items action. Check the table and current guest or bill context before adding anything.
2. Add dishes and options
Section titled “2. Add dishes and options”Select dishes, quantities, required variants and add-ons. Only use the options available for the venue’s current menu. Add the guest’s preparation note where supported.
3. Review the cart
Section titled “3. Review the cart”Check the items and Grand Bill in the cart. Use ADD MORE ITEMS to return to the menu when needed. Correct the cart before submitting rather than placing another order to compensate.
4. Place and check the order
Section titled “4. Place and check the order”Press PLACE ORDER only when the guest has confirmed the order. Wait for the result and check the table’s order list. If the POS is offline or the result is unclear, check the existing order before retrying so the kitchen does not receive duplicates.
