How Muncho fits together
A short map of the pieces you work with in Muncho, so the rest of these docs make sense.
Your restaurant
Section titled “Your restaurant”Your restaurant is one venue on Muncho, with its own menu, staff, plan and wallet. It has one login for the dashboard, plus a login for each member of staff. If you run several venues, Muncho can put them in a group so one login opens all of them. See Groups.
Channels
Section titled “Channels”Guests reach you through three channels. Each one has its own section in the sidebar, under Storefront.
| Channel | What it is | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Dine in | Guests scan a QR code on the table, order and pay from their phone. | A menu, settings, QR codes and tables, reports. |
| Delivery | Guests order on your own link and a rider brings it. | A menu, orders, riders, settings, menu links, reports. |
| Pickup | Guests order and pay on your own link, then collect at the counter. | A menu, orders, settings, menu links, reports. |
Dine in can have more than one Section, for example a ground floor and a rooftop. Each section has its own tables and its own settings.
A channel you do not run yet shows a single Set up entry. Dine in opens once your POS is connected. Delivery and pickup are switched on by Muncho.
Guests
Section titled “Guests”Everyone who orders, pays, joins your loyalty program or buys a cover charge is a guest. You find them under Customers, and you reach them again with Loyalty and Campaigns under Marketing.
Your team works in two places:
- The dashboard, for owners and managers: menus, settings, payments, reports.
- The waiter app, for floor staff: tables, orders, bills and scanning cover passes. If you choose that your staff accept table orders first, those orders wait in the waiter app.
You decide what each person can open under Staff.
Your POS
Section titled “Your POS”If you use PetPooja or Prism, Muncho keeps your menu in step with it, and orders from the table, delivery and pickup reach the POS. Dine in needs a connected POS. See Connect PetPooja or Prism.
- Payments from guests go through your Razorpay account, straight to your bank account. See Connect Razorpay.
- Your Muncho wallet pays for riders, the Muncho fee on deliveries and WhatsApp order updates. See Plans and the Muncho wallet.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Quickstart: from signup to your first order at the table.
- Table ordering and paying from the phone: set up dine in.
