Who pays the fees

Muncho charges no commission on dine-in and pickup orders. When a guest pays online at checkout, a 2.1% online payment gateway fee applies, and on each channel you choose whether the guest pays it on top of the bill or you pay it out of what you receive. Delivery is priced differently: see Delivery below.

The choice: Customer or You

Each channel’s Settings page has a Commission card under Charges, with two choices:

Customer: the 2.1% fee is added on top of the bill, so you receive the full amount. The guest’s bill shows it as Platform fee, and the pay screen says a small online payment gateway fee is added.
You: the fee is taken from your payout, and the guest is charged only the bill.

Press Save after you change it.

When payments go to your own Razorpay account

If you connected your own Razorpay account, guests cannot be charged the fee. The card says The fee stays with your restaurant and only You is offered.

Payment links

On a payment link, the guest pays the amount you asked for plus the payment fee, so you receive the full amount. See Payment links.

Delivery

Delivery costs the rider at cost, plus a Muncho fee of 5% of the bill (payment gateway included), plus GST. Both come out of your Muncho wallet. See Plans and the Muncho wallet.
