Discounts
A discount changes what a guest pays. Check the items, customers, outlets and timing that should qualify before saving it.
1. Choose how guests receive it
Section titled “1. Choose how guests receive it”Open Discounts and create an offer. Enter Name and Description. Under How customers get it, choose Automatic or Coupon code. Enter the code when that option is selected.
2. Set the benefit and scope
Section titled “2. Set the benefit and scope”Choose the Type, amount or value, and the qualifying items. For a free-item offer, select the single intended free dish. Review Minimum order and Maximum discount when applicable.
3. Set eligibility and timing
Section titled “3. Set eligibility and timing”Choose All customers or Selected customers, then set uses per customer and total uses if needed. Review Dates, Timing and Outlets. A day with no slot in a restricted schedule is not an active offer period.
4. Review and save
Section titled “4. Review and save”Check the final scope and press Save discount. For edits, use Save changes. Verify the offer in the guest cart without placing an unnecessary live order.
If it does not apply
Section titled “If it does not apply”Check the code, outlet, items, minimum order, customer eligibility, time window and remaining uses. Do not create a second overlapping offer before checking those rules.
